2016 Mainstay Award Winners Announced
Nova Scotia’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal has won the Mainstay Safety Award of Excellence, the province’s highest workplace safety honour.

The award was presented to Paul LaFleche, Deputy Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal,  by the Hon. Kelly Regan, Minister of Labour and Advanced Education and Stuart MacLean, CEO of the WCB of Nova Scotia on May 16 at the Canadian Museum of Immigration.

Originally launched in 2008, the Mainstay Awards Program is sponsored by the WCB and the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education. The Mainstays honour companies and individuals who are leaders in demonstrating a strong commitment and significant contribution to building a culture of workplace safety in Nova Scotia.
